I've always had a love of anything fun and creative. That's why I've been working as a graphic designer/photographer/illustrator for the last 11 years. Humor and optimism are my go-to attitudes cause I don't look half as good angry as I do smiling. I grew up in the South and love just about everything about it...Except the humidity, we have a professional relationship. Watching a movie, playing with my son, or cooking/eating is usually what you'll catch me doing.
For the past 5 years I've worked as the primary designer for the Utah Department of Cultural & Community Engagement (formerly Heritage & Arts) and have had responsibilities that have ranged from graphic design to illustration, photography, video shooting/editing and lunch making. Our department has 8 divisions that include Arts & Museums, State Library, Indian Affairs, STEM Action Center, State History, UServeUtah, SHPO and Multicultural Affairs. Each one with their unique projects and constituency which I've had to design for but keep under our Department's brand standards.
